Marta specialises in the protection of intellectual property rights, particularly in copyright, unfair competition and know-how matters, as well as IT project management, including IT system implementation and maintenance services, computer software licensing and e-commerce projects.
She has participated in numerous implementation and audit processes involving processing data protection. Marta helps entrepreneurs to resolve their court disputes. She also provides legal assistance to Italian entrepreneurs establishing businesses in Poland.
Marta is also expanding the firm’s presence in Katowice and contributing to the development of the Italian Desk.
She gained her professional experience while working for prominent Polish law firms and an organisation dedicated to copyright, which is affiliated with two international bodies, and cooperated with CMOs from various countries.
Marta is the author of numerous publications on copyright and e-commerce law matters.
She holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and an LL.M. in Comparative, European and International Law from the European University Institute in Florence.
Marta also completed her studies at the British and European Law Centre (a joint venture between the University of Cambridge and the University of Warsaw), as well as at the Italian and European Law Centre (a joint venture between the Dipartimento Seminario Giuridico of the Università degli Studi di Catania and the University of Warsaw).
She provides advice in Polish, English and Italian.
