About me
Dominika specialises in mergers and acquisitions and ongoing corporate advisory services. She advises partners on shaping corporate governance structures and negotiating investment agreements.
She has advised, among others, a Polish company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in debt restructuring negotiations with banks and bondholders and in securing a strategic investor, an energy company in exiting a joint venture established with its Israeli business partner, an international (Japanese-British) construction and development company in renegotiating an investment agreement with a Polish joint venture partner, and a Czech company (part of an international capital group based in France) in the acquisition of an organised part of its competitor’s business.
She also advises on litigation related to M&A transactions, e.g. concerning price settlement or breach of representations and warranties, as well as the liability of party advisors. She advised one of the leading banks in disputes related to its liability as a depositary of a closed-end investment fund.
She has experience in intellectual property law, personal data protection and competition law. She advises IT start-ups on ongoing corporate matters and intellectual property management.
For almost five years, she practised corporate law and M&A at a renowned Warsaw law firm. She also gained experience in a boutique law firm specialising in M&A transactions. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University and postgraduate studies in ‘Mergers and Acquisitions’ at the Warsaw School of Economics.
She also advises in English and German.
After work
She is a member of the Quantum Choir at the Warsaw University of Technology. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and handicrafts.
