Marek specialises in new technologies, intellectual property law, as well as the GameDev and data protection law matters. His particular interest lies in sports law.
On a daily basis, Marek supports one of the leading game developers in Poland in licensing game products, implementing data protection processes, addressing a wide range of employment law issues and handling matters concerning international law.
He represents clients in proceedings before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland involving, inter alia, obtaining grants for trademark registration and registering those trademarks.
Marek has served as the Secretary of the Games and Disciplinary Committee of the Polish Rugby Union (the disciplinary body of the Union) and provided day-to-day legal advice to the Union.
He runs a legal blog www.marekczwojdzinski.pl, delving into topics that have a direct impact on individuals in their daily lives.
Marek is a co-author of the book on the Digital Services Act in e-commerce.
He also provides pro bono services (i.e. provided legal aid to Ukrainians affected by war).
Marek provides advice in both Polish and English.
