Data Protection

As advisers, we have been involved in legal data protection since 2010, while the ‘old’ Data Protection Act was still in force. By supporting, among others, the largest Polish social network over the years, we have had a real impact on shaping the practice of authorities in this area. The experience we have gained has allowed us to naturally prepare for the implementation of RODO with our clients from 2018 onwards, to the extent always tailored to specific needs.

What do we help with?

• Verification of the obligation and scope of application of RODO in current operations – we verify which provisions are relevant to the company in question.

• Legal audits – we carry out a verification of the solutions used, including a post-implementation audit. Find out more under the services tab.

• RODO standards across the organisation – we coordinate implementation within the corporate group and the cooperation of individual company departments.

• Corporate documentation – we draft the necessary documents.

• Contractor negotiations – we are part of the client’s negotiation team when implementing new solutions or developing existing ones.

• Risk assessment – we carry out data protection impact assessments (DPIA, preDPIA).

• Transfer to third countries – we take into account and secure the cross-border movement of personal data, both within groups and with contractors.

• Cooperation – we take over the contact with the President of the Data Protection Authority and with the persons whose data is processed in the company.

• Training – we conduct training courses and e-learning for employees. We prepare training materials.

• External Data Protection Inspector – we perform the function of an IOD in the company. More in the services tab.

• Litigation – we defend the rights of our clients before courts of all instances.
